TRADE...... That Old Retro Store offers a trade service. This service is great, especially for those people who have stereo stuff lying around house, garage, or basement. Remember ONE MANS JUNK IS ANOTHER MANS TREASURE. The list above is merely a scratch on thesurface of what we may be interested in taking away for you....we also are interested in gear that is not working(ready for garbage??) we will re-use and recycle the electronic parts, tubes, etc. We will take your old and give you cash value towards a new piece or towards your repair work.

REPAIR...... That Old Retro Store has one of the best repairmen in Calgary...Joseph. He has over 17 years of experience, he learnt and perfected his trade in Africa. Electronics would be shipped via crate to him and he would have to fix them the old school style...no schematics. So when you are at loss for repairing your vintage gear and the local repair store tells you we do not work on that old stuff or they can't find parts....bring it to us. With a good description of the units problems, Joseph can fix just about anything. When you bring in your gear to us, it is repaired for the initial problem and then we will clean and performance test the item to insure correct operation. Our labor rate in $70.00 per hour (plus taxes), which is worth every penny, especially when we bring back your stereo gear to its former glory. We do have a $40.00 (plus taxes) diagnostic charge, payable when you drop off your piece.
